NOTE for High School Campers
Get ready—Our high school campers now get access to an all new lineup of exclusive elective adventures they choose once they get to camp. No more pre-registration, no added cost—just freedom to choose your fun! If your camper is dreaming of joining the Dinner Trail Ride (additional charge), simply log into your account to save their spot. This special experience takes place during the traditional dinner/evening program, so they won’t miss a single moment of the other electives they choose.
NOTE for Equine Campers
Equine Campers, saddle up! Your week is built around immersive, hands-on experiences at Silver Creek Ranch. Because Equine Camp is its own awesome adventure, these campers do not participate in SAGATUC electives.
Middle School
Step into the quiet beauty of the garden, where faith, nature, and community grow together. Campers will explore the basics of gardening while discovering how tending the earth reflects the ways God tends to our hearts. Each session invites kids into a slower pace, digging into the soil, noticing the small miracles of creation, and practicing gratitude for the world around us. Through hands‑on planting, gentle observation, and guided reflection, campers will learn how growth in the garden can mirror growth in faith: patient, intentional, and full of transformation. Perfect for campers who love being outdoors, enjoy quiet creativity, and are ready to discover how God’s love grows in unexpected places, one seed at a time.
Cost: $15, 4 one-hour sessions
Hang on! This SAGA is gonna be a wild ride! Spend your afternoon on the lake, and more specifically, on a tube! For those of you wanting to spend more time on the water, this is the SAGA for you! Campers will spend 4 additional sessions out at West Branch where they will test the waters on a variety of different tubes. A certified operator and lifeguard will be present at all times.
Cost: $35, 4 one-hour sessions
Haw Yee… Or should I say, Yee Haw? Callin' all you cowboys and cowgirls! Spend your SAGA session up at Silver Creek Ranch learning age-appropriate ranch skills. Each session will focus in on a different skill set taught by a trained staff member. Note: This SAGA will not simply be trailrides every day. Time will be spent learning and growing in ranch-specific skillsets.
Cost: $25, 4 one-hour sessions
Grab the fire extinguisher!! Just kidding! Try your hand at a wide array of fun and exciting experiments alongside our staff. Send a bottle rocket to space or put together the craziest concoction that somehow turns into slime...? Whatever madness you get into, we're sure it will be a blast... Not literally, of course.
Cost: $20, 4 one-hour sessions
SMILE!! Who doesn't love capturing the perfect moment? Join us for our exciting new photography elective, where campers will learn to tell captivating stories through a camera lens. Come and gain hands-on experience alongside our talented Camp Carl media team and learn how to properly care for and use a DSLR camera.
Cost: $35, 4 one-hour sessions
Wanna chill? Sometimes it's nice to just kick back and relax. For those of you who love some downtime, this is the SAGA for you. Spend this period in the gameroom playing cards or a board game. Buy a candy bar and Coca-Cola from the snack shop and head on over to Hammock City. Don't stress... the Chillest of Chill staff members will be hanging around with you.
Cost: FREE, 4 one-hour sessions
TEAM on 3! 1 - 2 -3, TEAM!!! Love to compete and be active? This is the place for you. Basketball, kickball, football, wiffle ball and more… This elective is sure to be a home run for anyone who joins. Not only will we compete hard, but campers will be taught the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.

We've all got a wild side! Spend the week rotating through the 4 warrior activities here at camp: Paintball (Capture the Flag for ELEM), Axe Throwing, Archery, and BB Gun (Slingshot for ELEM). Whether you're nailing the bullseye out at archery or out on the paintball course, this elective will get the blood pumping! Spend time refining old skills or learning new ones alongside our staff!
Cost: $35, 4 one-hour sessions
Do you love the outdoors? Here at camp there are so many places to explore! This rotational SAGA will allow you to see and experience different parts of the great outdoors! Spend one day at the creek catching crawfish and the next day testing your fire-building skills. Pack your boots and binoculars...who knows what you're gonna see out there?!
Cost: FREE, 4 one-hour sessions
Looking for an adrenaline rush? This is the elective for you. Spend two days ripping through our new mountain bike trails and two days learning how to safely ride, operate, and care for a Onewheel. Don’t worry, Mom and Dad, helmets and wrist guards will be provided and are mandatory for riding.
Cost: $15, 4 one-hour sessions
Nothing like spending the day at the pool or lake when the sun is shining! During the camp week, campers have the opportunity to travel to both the pool and lake, twice! This elective will be in addition to those sessions. If you are a fish out of water, come join the lifeguards down by the lake or pool!

Grab your hard hat and get ready to create! If you enjoy working with your hands and building something that lasts, this is the elective for you. Walk through a woodworking project alongside our staff and maintenance volunteers. At the end of the week you will be able to take home your one-of-a-kind project to show off to the family.

For campers who want to try their hand at guitar, this SAGA offers instruction from an experienced member of our staff. Participants will be taught the basics of instrument handling, strumming patterns, chords, and more. All skill sets are welcome, and guitars will be provided.
Cost: $20, 4 one-hour sessions
Yee Haw!! We're going old school! Hop on your horse and head out back where you'll cook a hearty meal over the fire and enjoy a relaxing wrangler-led trail ride around the property. This opportunity will take place once a week in place of a regularly scheduled dinner.
*Please Note: All of those signed up for Dinner Trail Ride will be missing a scheduled evening activity but will partake in the remainder of the evening activities throughout the week.
Cost: $50, 1 session, 2+ hours
Nothing like a day on the lake fishing for some bass and bluegill. We provide the instruction, rod, reels, bait, and you provide the big catches! The lake is stocked and ready to go! Cast from the new dock or find a spot under a shade tree, it's all up to you! Sign up now...this one's a catch!
Cost: $20, 4 one-hour sessions
Who doesn't love enjoying a bowl of ice cream in your very own bowl? During the pottery elective, campers will be instucted on how to properly throw their own masterpiece on the pottery wheel. Leading up to this, participants will be taught clay-building techniques by an experienced instructor. At the end, they will be given the opportunity to glaze and fire their masterpiece and bring it home!
Cost: $35, 4 one-hour sessions
Let's be real… Who doesn't have a sweet tooth? The bakers elective will be a time spent learning how to properly create the most scrumdillyumptious desserts. Measuring, safety, cleanliness, cleanup, and of course taste-testing are all things you will practice along the way! Take some of your tasty treats back to the cabin to share or store it away to take home and share after camp... That is only if you can resist the urge to eat it all yourself! (Unfortunately, special diet options are unavailable).

Let your creativity go wild! During the Arts & Crafts elective, participants will be led through a variety of crafts suitable for their artistic level. Whether it's painting the sunset over Silver Creek Ranch on a canvas, or tie-dying your very own t-shirt, campers will be given space to express their creativity during the week and take their projects home to show off.
