Mother & Daughter Retreat

October 23 - 25, 2026

We invite you to step away from the noise and discover the joy of growing together in faith as a mother and daughter at Camp Carl. We’ve designed this special weekend to be an intentional time focusing on and growing in your relationship with your daughter and are confident that you’ll benefit from it. Through time in God’s word, worshiping together, and participating in guided discussions, you’ll uncover how God’s truth renews and strengthens your relationship with one another and with Him! Additionally, you’ll get to enjoy fun activities together, great food, and comfortable accommodations.

We know just how special the relationship between a mother and daughter can be; however, we also recognize that grandmothers often play an important role in a girl’s life as well. Therefore, we invite grandmothers to attend as well!

*This weekend is designed for 2nd – 12th grade daughters. We encourage those who have adult daughters to attend our Ladies’ Retreat for an opportunity to enrich your adult mother and daughter relationship.

Theme: Our Refuge

The Psalms repeat the idea of God being our refuge over 40 times. This idea seems important but what does it mean and how do we take refuge in God? Beyond that, how can we lead our daughters to take refuge in God? In a world that feels unstable and chaotic and, frankly, pretty scary - we want to show you how to run to the Lord in your time of need and to lead your daughter there as well. The goal for our time together is to equip you to trust God and apply his Word to your own life and to help you cultivate a connection with your daughter that will bear fruit in your relationship for years to come.

Retreat Speaker: Rachel Kimble

Rachel is a wife to Jeremy, a mother to Hannah (19) and Jonathan (17), a daughter, sister, friend, mentor, and child of God. She has spent much of her adult life educating her children and as that job has been winding down, God has blessed her with the opportunity to minister to women at University Baptist Church in Beavercreek,OH. She recently finished up a Masters in Biblical Counseling and is passionate to minister the Word to women in a way that connects their life situations to God’s promises and works for their progress and joy in the faith.

Why Camp Carl?

Camp Carl is fully committed to partnering with families in the nurturing, development, and guidance of children and adolescents. We believe this week – and every week – matters in the life of a child. So we plan to make this a time they’ll never forget!

This is achieved through our positive, energetic emphasis on a personal relationship with God through Christ Jesus, and the understanding that everyone is created in the image of God.
