Application Process
First things first… Learn about us. Talk to past staff, explore our website, youtube, and our social media to learn about Camp Carl. This summer opportunity is like none other! However, it’s not for everyone. Be sure to watch our videos on YouTube and get a sense of who we are!
1. Apply Online
Click the link at the bottom of this page to begin your online application. You will be asked to create an account if you don’t already have one, and you will have the option to save your progress and return to the application to complete it later. We will not review incomplete applications.
2. We Contact Your References
We want to know who you are around other people and past employers. Your online application will ask you for 3 different types of non-familial references. We will not send you a job offer until all 3 references are completed.
3. Live Interview
This is the step where you finally get to talk to a member of our team face-to-face! While we would prefer to meet with you in person, we do offer a virtual interview option if you are not in the area or your schedule doesn’t allow for you to meet with us at Camp. All in-person interviews will happen at Camp Carl or possibly on your college campus if we have a visit scheduled, so be sure to ask when/if we are coming to your campus! Come to your interview prepared to discuss past experiences and how they have shaped your character and prepared you to work at camp. This is a great time to ask any questions about our positions or details about the summer.
4. Final Hiring Decision
We will be sending out bulk job offers all at once about once a month, at the end of each month. If you don’t hear from us immediately, we may still be considering you, just not sure what specific job we need you to fill. Our job offers are sent and accepted electronically.
